Due to hectic schedules, as well as the lack of accessibility and time, Singaporean youths have no interest in urban farming. What if we changed that with a video game? Introducing Sword and Sickle, a turn-based RPG where you can gain while you game! As you progress in-game, you can sow plants in a hydroponic allotment assigned to you offline. With this, you can farm virtually and in real life, maintaining a round-the-clock hydroponics system to care for your crops

Singapore's "30 by 30" plan refers to a government initiative aimed at enhancing the country's food security by producing 30% of its nutritional needs locally by the year 2030. Singapore, being a small island nation with limited land and resources for agriculture, has historically relied heavily on imports to meet its food demands. The "30 by 30" plan seeks to reduce this dependency on external sources and increase the resilience of Singapore's food supply. However, reaching this demand is challenging due to the lack of interest shown by younger Singaporeans.

By specialising in Image Design, I’ve learnt how to captivate my audience with a strong visual identity and firm narrative. Urban Farming seems like a far-fetched idea to the modern Singaporean, buffered by their aircon offices and instant foods, but I believe that by capturing their emotions through storytelling and gamification, behind the monotony of day to day office and school life, they will feel motivated and empowered to pursue urban farming.

Roleplaying video game where you can gain real-life currency while you game. Based off traditional RPGs, action-adventure games, and the Legend of Zelda series, you play as a listless protagonist trying to find the meaning behind the voices she hears, alongside the strange spirit that follows her around.
